Balmain Campus, Sydney Secondary College Music Performance
Australian based Sydney Secondary College Instrumental Music Program has joined the Echoes of Apollo party. They are holding a performance on the 24th of June at their Balmain Campus in honour of Apollo 11.
They will be performing space themed music and music associated with Apollo missions. They will be searching for music with names such as names such as “Eagle”. and “Moon” to form their program.
Between each performance a short story about Apollo 11 and its Australian support staff will both educate and inform the audience about the strong links to Apollo 11 and associated missions and the key role that Australia played. It is expected that excerpts from the movie “The Dish” will be performed. More information closer to the date, but this will be one of our lead activities.
