HoneySuckle Creek and Parkes A11+40.
A news story about the Apollo 11 communications from an Australian perspective. It shows my good friend John Sarkissian commenting on the role of the Parkes facility in relaying the bulk of the Apollo 11 moon video. Honeysuckle Creek is also shown. Honeysuckle creek brought the whole world the first video of the lunar excursions and thus the first steps on the moon. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation TV report was broadcast during the Apollo 40th anniversary celebrations earlier this year (July 2009)
