We are pleased to announce that Russell Morris is now supporting the Echoes of Apollo program by being a patron for modern Music within the Echoes of Apollo event. Russell has shaped the Australian and international scene in his inspiring career as both a singer and songwriter. in fact he was Australia’s first major singer and songwriter.
Russell’s career has seen major successes at both the start of his career and currently with his music featuring in the movie “The Dish” shown to a global audience.
He has continuously performed and written music during his career. His name is well known in Australia and his music essential listening for students of modern music.
Russell has provide Echoes of Apollo the rights to use his track “On the Wings of an Eagle” for both our website and podcasts. Russell is an amazing performer and an Australian Icon in the music scene.
Russell Morris is one of Australia’s most enduring singers. A major pop star in the late sixties, he went on to become one of Australia’s first singer songwriters and, during the seventies led a popular rock band.
